The mechanism for the jaw is a smooth lift, with metal hardware for a strong closed position; when not riding, there is a lock to keep the jaw piece lifted in the up position. The 580 also comes with a P70 Pinlock anti-fog lens insert to provide a fog-free clear visibility ride.
